The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes! To Be Cancelled?!

I know this seems strange, I don't normally talk about television, but I see this as big news.

You read the title correctly my friends, one of the greatest animated series ever made, 'The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes!' is apparently being cancelled at the end of season 2! Which really doesn't make sense because it is currently one of the most popular shows on Disney XD and I think many will agree that it is the best Marvel animated series since 'Spider-Man: The Animated Series'. Obviously the success of 'The Avengers Assemble' helped make this show as popular as it is, and you can clearly see that characters like Tony Stark have been influenced by the 'Iron Man' movies. Basically you can watch this show, and it gives you a glimpse as to what could be in future Avengers movies. The voice acting is great, along with the animation and so far I haven't seen a bad story line yet, it does a really good job at introducing each character (bare in mind I have only watched season 1).

So why have they decided to cancel this amazing series? Well, do any of you watch 'Ultimate Spider-Man'? That's why. Marvel have decided that they want to create a "new Marvel universe" that coincides with the new Spider-Man series. The Avengers are a big part of the 'Ultimate Spider-Man' series, so it is clear why they want to expand this universe and tie everything together. 'Ultimate Spider-Man' isn't a bad series from what I've watched so far, but Peter Parker/Spider-Man gets quite annoying, it just doesn't have the same charm that 'Spider-Man: The Animated Series' had. 

Personally I think it is a stupid if it is true (nothings been confirmed yet, but Marvel have announced a new block of programming called 'Marvel Universe'), because it's pointless to cancel a really well received and popular show just to start all over again, with the same characters. There's a chance they might just try and tie in 'Ultimate Spider-Man' with the end of season 2 of 'The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes' and not waste everyone's time. The animation between the two shows doesn't look that different, the shows just follow different styles.
